Why this site exists
The monastery admits visitors for three hours a morning, five days a week, and every sunrise tour from the coast arrives at the gate at the same hour as every other one. A listing can promise the monastery and deliver a locked door, because the bus left Sharm on a Saturday night. A listing can print 15 hours and leave you forty minutes inside the walls, because the mountain took longer than the itinerary said.
Neither operator is lying. Put the listings side by side without those two facts, the closed days and the time inside, and they read as the same tour at different prices. Separating them is the main job of this site.
The rest is the practical detail the listings leave out: what the protectorate fee is and who has paid it, whether the museum ticket is in the price, where the camel stops, and what happened in 2025 when the monks closed the gate.
Where the facts come from
Tour prices, durations, ratings, review counts, inclusions, age limits and cancellation terms are read from each operator's own listing in US dollars, on the date shown on the page. Every tour page carries the same fields in the same order. Where a listing prints a time at the monastery, we print that figure; where it prints nothing, we say so rather than estimate.
Opening hours, the visitor route and the rules inside come from the monastery's own website and from the schedules two operators publish. The 2025 closure timeline is taken from Orthodox Times, EWTN and the operators who reported the reopening. Mountain distances and step counts come from the Sinai Hikes listing and from Wikipedia's article on Mount Sinai.

We also make no presence claim. Nobody on this site climbed the mountain or walked the courtyard on your behalf; what you get instead is every listing's own statements set against the monastery's own rules and against what travellers wrote after they went.
